There’s your problem you’re not there to identify the person. You’re there to identify the alleged acts or elements of a criminal charge. The name doesn’t give you any indication of the crime. It is separate issue that stands on its own accord. And you have a very limited amount of time to detain somebody to ascertain as to what criminal offenses may have occurred.
