If we were never meant to be, why did we love so deeply? Because before meeting you, I was always afraid of the idea of "Love", and "Falling in Love". Like I said to you once, I never planned to fall in love, never even planned to date anyone at that moment. But then, I met you... We knew each other from time to time, and we gradually fell in love. It must've awakened to the very sound of a chance encountered like when you found me as I never thought that I could live a life where I got to fall deeply into someone, even kept on fighting for us at that moment. But eventually, we lost the fight. You know...when fate made us encounter each other back then, all I could think of was you were a funny man, a good man that I can make friends with. But love has its unique way... I never even fought for anyone when things got rough, because I would definitely run away, and just gave up. But after you? We kept on fighting to make things work, never truly giving up, and just like that... Fate just decided to say, "We were not meant to be together, there's no fate for us," and we ended when we still loved each other deeply. I think I will always thank God for making me meet you, despite the hurt of the sad ending we have now. Being with you, I once was so happy, I was being myself, completely and utterly without having to put on any masks. And maybe that's why you are still inside of my heart and mind right now.
