I visited Bethlehem in 2023 (a week before it all kicked off). And I couldn’t believe how prison like it was. I bought a necklace there, ate lunch, had a tour and visited local shops which was my attempt of helping. I left with a whole new understanding of the prison they live in. Had similar issues on the plane, I was searched, interrogated. Spat on, refused service for being a woman and non-Jewish.
