My parents raised us without AC, and I honestly never noticed how hot it was until we went into a ac controlled room, I was so cold. people dont realize your body can grow accustomed to temperatures gradually and before u know it you find shade is really all u need haha

As a kid in Wales I remember this trip to a place called ‘Castell Henllys’ and went to the Iron Age roundhouse, it was so interesting to experience what our Celtic ancestors did, make bread, we had our faces painted and everything. So fun ! 🤩

Same here in Vietnam, when i was a kid, i live in a "poor" house, its not beautiful but so comfortable and cool. Now life is better, living in a beautiful concrete house but it hot as hell and lack of air ventilation 😂

in colombia we have something very similar, “casas de bahareque” they are made out of palm trees and mud, when i was little my grandma would take us visit her family in the countryside and it was soooo cool inside i loved sleeping on the floor during the day
