BFF wet food has lots of hydration! Hydration is the key. No dry food for crystal prone kitties!

If I remember correctly, this was years ago, one of my cats had the crystals in his urine. My vet recommended I use a low ash food (back then it was the Prescription Science Diet either C/D or W/D) one is for a diabetic cat which my other cat had. Since I made the switch, he never had that issue again.

There is a dry form of the urinary SO. My boy has been on it, and my vet said it’s high quality, nutritious kibble

My cat had crystals also. It’s VERY IMPORTANT for the rest of his life to add in a little bit of water to his dry food AND wet food so that he drinks enough water.

My cat has those issues has for a while I used to feed him prescription dry science hills food but that got expensive so I found Purina One urinary tract dry food and just add water to his bowl when he eats twice a day to make sure he drinks but he also drinks water too. It’s a much better price and seems to be working the same
