@scarastral: I think it’s also important to consider that after all of this, he might still struggle with some sort of survivor guilt that could also reason well with his familiarity of feeling helpless. After all I think asides from others reasons i already mentioned in the past, this survivor guilt and maybe who knows, some twisted logic that he can be truly helpful to save someone only if he take big risks might be another factor of his sacrificial tendencies. I also think this explanation I found is quite interesting: Survivor guilt persists because letting it go can feel morally dangerous. Many people fear that if they stop suffering, they will be forgetting, betraying, or diminishing the one who died or the severity of what happened. Pain then becomes a substitute for relationship and a ritual of loyalty. The psyche would rather keep hurting than risk feeling like it abandoned the dead. -Kathrin Sforcina | Might make another analysis exploring more wanderer's survivor guilt because lot can be said about it but it would be better I make slides of it ^^ #scaramouchegenshinimpact #wanderergenshinimpact #scaranation #GenshinImpact #HoYoCREATORS
I don’t think hoyo will ever come close to making a character so beautifully mentally and development wise. Seeing this scene made my heart sink to my ass 💔
