Even with a known link, you can still get hacked. The phishing email may contain a real link. Let’s say I send you a document with all real links, your antivirus won’t detect it. The moment you open it, I rewrite your hosts file. For example, if you try to visit Microsoft (Outlook or Live.com), even if you go through Google, it will always take you to the phishing site. What I’m saying, in essence, is, just because a URL looks genuine doesn’t mean it’s safe.
