If it’s hot outside, the windows should be shut and the curtains should be closed . This will keep your room cool.

Wrong Leave it blowing inward from the window all night because it's cooler outside at night, then close the windows in the morning when the temperature outside starts to rise. That's how you keep the apartment cooler.

This does work but is only worth doing if you can open Windows on both sides of the house to create circulation this is just a weak method to add circulation where there is none

You just push out and suck in the same air over and over again if there is no second window open - circulation of air is minimal instead if you open the second window it will create circulation where the new cold air can move in without any restrictions while the vacuum will not need to suck back the air you just pushed out on first window...
