I don’t think any of the people talking about going to California to vote have voted before

As someone who was registered to vote in California, they do actually check your ID the first time you vote in person. If they try to do same day registration to vote they won’t have sufficient ID to register as a Californian voter. And every time after you have to give your name and address and sign the form verifying it.

I have a coworker whose son moved. She saw his name in the voter rolls while they looked up her name (same last name). This convinced her that someone voted in his name, despite the fact she wasn't told she already voted. She doesn't understand that him not being purged automatically because he registered/lives in another state doesn't mean someone voted in his name at his old polling place.

They won’t give you your ballot if you don’t give a name/verify name/address.

In Illinois, I moved last year so I have a new polling place. Because my ID is different, they had me answer some pretty personal information before I got my ballot bc I registered to vote

This is all about the fact that these people can’t believe anyone wouldn’t support Republicans. The only explanation they have for the existence of blue states is fraud because they’re so infantile they think everyone agrees with their corrupt, hateful, useless party.
