Fun fact in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie; the directors used expired meat and passed animals in the film. Also the movie was filmed with a very low budget and it was set in Texas during the summer making it extremely hot and humid. The setting coupled with the expired meat and passed animals made it difficult for the actors given the extreme heat and foul smells.
