@aliyahdelice: 9 months of tattooing🌹 still wrapping my head around the fact that this was my first ever tattoo convention. not just attending, but working alongside artists from all over at the @roccitytattooexpo 🌟 feeling really grateful. to my team & family at Ink Cartel, my mentor, Austin, & to Love Hate for inviting our shop to be part of it this year. being surrounded by so much talent, creativity, experience, & love for the craft reminded me exactly why i fell in love with tattooing in the first place. met some incredible artists this weekend, got pierced, met a dope painter & tattoo apprentice, & got to spend the weekend boothed next to the homies over at Old Friends. tattooing changed the trajectory of my life in ways i prolly still don’t fully understand yet. it gave me purpose, community, discipline, confidence, expression. a life i actually feel connected to. no day truly feels like “work” when you get to create, connect, & leave pieces of yourself behind through your art. forever grateful for the artists who paved the way before me & for everyone who continues to trust me with their skin & their ideas. tattooing is a privilege. what you put in, is what you get out. i hope everybody finds the thing that makes them feel this alive & has the courage to chase it.
