I mean this so lovingly bc I’m still a newer army who found kpop through bts and not the other way round - whilst the fanchant is integral to the experience of being an army, it’s not as big in western music so armys not doing the fanchant (perhaps bc you didn’t know them or even know they were thing) but still shouting, dancing and singing along with the songs are klm to me ngl. If they’re not doing the fanchants AND they’re silent too that’s a whole different issue.
