@itsthespotlight: Shrek fans, it looks like Far Far Away isn’t closing its gates anytime soon 💚🐴 While we’re all still waiting for the long-awaited release of Shrek 5, it sounds like the franchise could already have an even bigger future ahead. Speaking on his podcast Fly on the Wall, Dana Carvey revealed he recently spoke to Mike Myers, who apparently told him: “we’re doing two more.” Yep… TWO more Shrek movies may already be in the works. The news comes after Shrek 5 was pushed back from July 2026 to June 20, 2027 (we’re still recovering), with the upcoming movie set to bring back Cameron Diaz as Fiona, Mike Myers as Shrek and Eddie Murphy as Donkey. Fans are also seriously excited to see Zendaya join the franchise as Fiona and Shrek’s daughter. At this point, DreamWorks might have us returning to Far Far Away forever… and honestly? We wouldn’t complain.
