@jennys.budget: Things we still don’t spend money on - having got out of over £42000 worth of debt. There is nothing quite like getting out of debt to show you what is important! Working out what is important to you as a family is key, as this is where you can then make savings in some areas to help you pay for the things you really want. I used to think I deserve this, I should be able to have that! This mentality was keeping me stuck! Regardless of salary, there are few of us from normal backgrounds that have it all. So in order for you to have the things you want, you need to work out what you can live without! These are a few of the things that aren’t important to us - that help us make savings for things we do! #livingwithinyourmeans #Budgeting #save #debt #financialliteracy
We live very similarly. I can’t believe how much money we used to waste on luxury items and we are so much more purposeful now

love this post🥰 , cars on finance / pcp eat up so much of a monthly income , and as you get older or just more savvy with cash it dawns on you , you simply do not need a new car or a flash one every 4yrs .

I agree about cars. I just don’t get why anyone buy new cars.
