@travelwithyulan: a hidden gem on the Caribbean coast 🇨🇷 one of my favorite stops every time I visit Puerto Viejo is Playa Negra. the views are truly so beautiful, and I love seeing the contract of the black sand with the water. 🐚 some tips for visiting Playa Negra: — go early in the morning or in the late afternoon for sunset! the reflection of the sun on the black sand is beautiful. it was very cloudy when I filmed this, but still so pretty. — wear sandals or flip flops. the sand was hot for me on a cloudy day, but I’ve been there on sunny ones and it’s scorching! — bring something to wipe your feet with and rinse off your body in the water. the black sand is very fine and will stick to you easily. even when it dries, you can’t brush it off like you can regular sand. — protect your gear. because the sand is so fine, it will easily get stuck in the crevices of your phone case if you’re not careful. — bring snacks and water. there aren’t any facilities on the beach so you’re on your own. stock up on anything you may need beforehand. #travel #costarica #blacksandbeach #explore #creatorsearchinsights
