This is not fully true. As a mom of 2 just now getting diagnosed recently I can’t forget to take them because adhd burnout is real and if I don’t take them I can’t function to be a good mom. I can forget many things but taking my meds is not one of them as I have to jump up out of bed early every day wether I want to or not and without meds I want to do nothing at all

I had to do a a split into two bottles. I need one for work or else I’ll forget and I need one for the weekend or else I’ll forget lol.

I rarely ever take my second dose, so I actually went two months without seeing my doctor lol because I still had basically another 30 left after one month 😂🤦🏽♀️

I know that when I don’t take the medication‘s is a difficulty. I think it’s crazy to say that we are addicted to Adderall when the truth is all it does is make us calm. We certainly don’t get them high or excitement out of it. For me at least I just wanna survive and be happy.

Addicted like I need it to function? YES! But then I’m also addicted to my BP medication to prevent migraines… and yea, there’s usually 2-4 pills left every month because I got out of “sequence” on a weekend morning and forgot to take them- those days are chaotic at best.

I skip days… and the pharmacy tried to tell me I was too early trying to get my meds. They were filled on the 17th of April, I picked up the 21st, today is the 26 of MAY!! I was livid!!

My wife reminds me every day to take my meds & Brother I’ve been through 10 treatments for Cocaine & Alcohol abuse I stopped drinking August 1st 2018 & I’ve had two relapses for 2 months the first time & 6 weeks the second time for using cocaine I’ve been clean off cocaine twice for 3 yrs & 2 months each time from cocaine. I never took my ADHD serious I took it seriously August 1st 2018

Listen WE ALL have different situations but in 23 years I don’t have a damn headache if I miss SEVERAL DAYS! Ppl need to. It the crap. I don’t even take it when I’m sick, etc. 😳😏🥺
