I too went on a search to see why people were saying Goose was a nazi, and the only think I found was a bunch of tweets where goose made jokes about the way the word nazi is used in phrases like grammar nazi. I didn't find the jokes funny, personally, and I could understand saying they were tasteless, but saying they were goose admitting to being a nazi is just...an illiterate take. It's a take that sounds like it might be being made by people who are unaware of the term grammar nazi maybe?

I stopped doing cancel culture, I new someone who go lt canceled and I was the only person who actually read the testimony against them. people couldn't keep the very first thing stated in the document straight, literally the thumbnail. even if the claims made were 100% true (which was very unlikely) the cancel culture wave was misrepresenting the data.

my best friend was the target of a harassment campaign in a fandom that blew a minor mistake of theirs SO far out of proportion it wasn't even funny. it's impacted their mental health so severely that it's genuinely ruining their life (and yes, they're trans. which I'm sureeeeeeee is just a coincidence). I hate it here man....

Is abso-fucking-Lutly hate “cancel culture” it absolutely discourages people from growing and changing as people, it encourages people to dig up things from before people change, and it makes it aware when people do change and then get popular. They are haunted by their past mistakes, even if they’re actively discouraging people from making the same mistakes in the modern age. I do not care if when you were 17, you were homophobic, if in the modern time you are either an ally or a vocally queer person, I do not care if you were racist when you were 19 if you’re 37 and have been vocally pro POC and I’ve been donating to good causes for 17 years. People should absolutely be allowed to change grow and become better.

I'm pretty sure she was in the stream's chat, but overall I really don't think any grace should be given to whole grown adults. Especially when comments they made are online and still publicly available, not that I care about anything she said but in general I'll never be a fan of "giving grace" to people who were not even close to being teenagers. People can grow and change, but when it's stuff that they got away and never had to address until now how can we really sit here and say they've changed? @no

its vary fair to dislike someone for working with people who are openly racist. that does make you racist by proxy(non racists dont want to work with racist people) that does make her racist. does that make her actively bigoted to the black community tho? no, probably not, not unless she actively defends that behavior. just about everything and every one is racist by default in a white supremacist society because thats literally how its designed. a white supremacist society is designed to make you racist by default, it takes active effort to be anti-racis
