Here are the basics: 🌱 Raw ingredients — Add our raw ingredients: greens and browns (a mixture of food and yard waste) 🪱 Active compost — Water and turn the pile (this adds water and oxygen necessary for decomposition). Dig in and you'll the toasty temperatures, crawling arthropods, and microbial action ideal for decomposition. 🌟 Finished compost — What we're left with is finished compost, aka 'black gold'. Add this to your garden as a soil amendment and return all that goodness to the soil! Our material is already certified for home & industrial compost, but field testing with local composters lets us watch the magic happen in real time.
