the government will sooner let us common people stave then help us feed ourselves. I can almost guarantee that big shops like tescos asda and lidl will record record profits during these times. because they will also watch us starve then let there profit dwindle a little

Corporate is squeezing us for record profits until there's nothing left. I'm old enough to have lived through several recessions and austerity and I don't recall people being quite so angry as they are now. We're at the peak of the squeeze just before people just stop paying their bills and stealing to eat, I can feel it. It's easily avoided if there are caps on profit for basic necessities like food, water, energy, public transport, and yet it's never addressed by politicians.
