This is actually super common on semi trucks in the U.S. they are way cheaper but do have a tendency to fail more.

Retreads somewhat last on street cars but trucks etc don’t bother they always come off

as a commercial tech ive seen some retreads last thousands of miles. I've seen others rip the tread right back off.

this is the safer of the two types of retreads, this is a molded retread, a little safer than stick ons; stick on are put on by glue and staples to hold it, they sticks aren't safe AT ALL never buy stick ons
