Put Copperhead gauge wheel arms on a 1790 and bearings in the closing wheel arms. So much better no slop in the closing wheels and don’t have to grease gauge wheel arms.

Air bags do down and up up for beans down for corn soybeans don’t like any pressure as light as possible to get the seed in and closing wheels light just enough to cover not sure if you follow the digital farmer we have learned a lot trying redesign a bean planter good luck

Precision planting for all upgrades. Skip air down pressure and go to some sort of hydraulic down pressure. Delta is by far superior in that market.

I like the yetter cast twister closing wheels on my planter but that’s all I’ve had for closing wheels so don’t know if any are better. Hefty brothers always talk about the germinator closing wheels
