With how messed up Apple’s account services are, you keep the iPad incase anything happens to the phone. Without at least one other device signed in with your Apple account you’re screwed if that thing breaks

There was a brief period where (1) there were a lot of people who had email jobs and didn’t require a lot of computing power, (2) most laptops were still very heavy & power hungry, (3) the iPhone was too small, & (4) the iPad 2/3 had the right size, weight, and power to read & send emails and work on Word and basic Excel files. It became an email travel laptop.

At this point my iPad is just a smaller laptop for me. Which is pretty much just a portable tv because I do not have any responsibilities that I actually use either for 😭
