I have a Fallon theory. She doesn't talk about her in great detail, kind of cagey about it even, but we know she was her first friend/companion when she woke up, right? Fallon sounds a lot like FALLEN, so I sort of wonder if she was a manifestation of Slatra while Raeve was reorienting to being alive.

You’re highlighting an issue about “the other” being read by two different voices that becomes even worse in book two. The audio books should have been Duet or single narrator, because there are tooooo many POVs in book two and they all have different voices for the same characters, it’s very confusing. And rather than just having two different narrators doing dual, it’s like 5 different narrators doing their version of each characters voice. Not a fan. Read the next one, don’t listen.

#1 yearner 😭😭 both books have my whole heart. The second book audio was challenging for me. I loved the voices but I found it was work to track the POVs and who was where. And so so much happened. Def loved reading my physical book then listening after 😅
