The difference in hand chemistry actually is crazy to me. Onesided effort that isn’t returned fully but has familiarity verse one with more mutual effort and that is grounded in emotional weight. The hand dynamic with Dohwa and Sooae consistently shows Dohwa initiating or seizing opportunities for closeness putting in far more effort only for little to no reciprocation from Sooae. Despite his gentle affection her responses are often minimal and lack the same emotional weight. When he holds her hand her reaction is almost always neutral. When she initiates contact it is far more playful and teasing in a familiar way. He gives effort and hopes for it in return but isn’t really given anything emotionally or mutually in return. Eunhyuk and Sooae’s interactions follow a polar opposite pattern. In recent there are initial moments of hesitation or resistance from Sooae such as her slapping Eunhyuks hand away when he reaches it out towards her. He still despite the rejection reaches back out calm and patient. Eventually she lets him take his hand (not sure if she reached out in return or not) but when they are hand holding hands she does not withdraw. She lets her hand rest in his as he is gentle with it fully neutrally accepting it. Across many different occasions there is effort from one side that is met with a full blown response back from the other. It’s a far more emotional and reciprocated. Even though when effort is given he doesn’t expect or hope for anything in return he is given a form of emotional acceptance regardless. Depiste the narrative being ongoing and Sooae still clearly being in a conflicted emotional state the patterns so far have been relatively consistent. With Dohwa the whole interaction dynamic tends to remain to lack in in emotional and physical reciprocity. Despite familiarity and comfort the exchange it is rarely mutual. With Eunhyuk all the interactions feel more frequently mutual and carry emotional weight and tone even depsite prior rejection. Soohwas interactions have familiarity but it is still one sided. Eunhyuk and Sooae’s interactions have emotional weight and is mutual still. Although all said and done things could always change.
