The fact that Nico Robin stops being able to fight as soon as she joins the straw hats is what made me most mad about One Piece. Because what do you mean she was the only one to have survived a buster call, she’s the only survivor of O’Hara, and she single handedly escaped the world government since she was 8 years old, but can’t fight. She has her moments, she’s extremely smart and interesting (and i love her plot with the poneglyphs), but any cool action scenes are left to the “monster trio” while Robin is on the ground somewhere. Robin has been my fav character since she was introduced, but it has felt like Oda didn’t know what to do with her for hundreds of episodes.

whats so INFURIATING about one piece is that there IS good writing, but its overshadowed by some genuine bs that its hard to slug through. I read most of dressrosa bc the anime was pmo
