Volume only works to a certain degree. Sometimes I love putting a load of lettuce and cucumber in my chicken pasta salad to bulk it up and make it refreshing ❤️other times I don't want to eat a whole head of lettuce instead of having a chocolate bar, I just want a chocolate bar 🤣

Honestly this goes for all unsolicited dietary advice. I grew up with all sorts of rules like "bread makes you fat" or "no food past 6 pm", I don't think I've heard as much unsolicited advice about anything in life as I have about food. I love bulking up some of my meals when I suspect satiety will be more difficult, but swapping a savory treat for a bunch of fruit is never gonna fly even if I love strawberry season 😋
