Wow just wow! It’s not just the cost of day care she is saving you, drop off and pick up time, getting the kids ready in the mornings, dealing with the tantrums because they are tired from a big day out while you are trying to get dinner ready, the days day care is closed and you have to stay home, the days they are sick and can’t go to day care. This is all saving you from taking time away from your job. She is not only helping you save a massive amount of money but also saving you on daily stress as well as not pissing your employer off because you have to be away from work so much dealing with your kids. You actually should be paying her something as well as providing living expenses.

I just can not understand how detached and desensitized people become..that is your husband's mother...could be yours. It is so wrong to charge your parents for anything...you are supposed to take care of them when they need it...not mentioning the money she saves you providing the best care beside you, the parents, to your kids, and all the love she has for them.
