@leotraeger: Giant Steps on acoustic guitar. Walking bass + Improvised solos with picado & adding bass notes to some Rick Beato lines over the chord changes. I also completed the tremolo section & added some waterfall harmonics mixed with a technique called “Campanella”🪉over new chord substitutions. Just learned this a couple of hours ago. I also slowed the tempo on that section & switched to 3/4 at the end to release some tension. I’ve never used so many techniques on one song! Playing John Coltrane at 4:00 AM is just the best time. Currently working on a full version 🔥I can’t stand 14 second clips, so will be posting longer content. I think having stamina helps in the real world & that’s a lesson I learned from playing with Jordan Rudess. The most challenging section of this arrangement are the🪉harp harmonics.
