I’m conflicted tbh. Yes, patriarchy has gotta go and matriarchy will be exponentially better… but it all just feels so conceptually… binary? And binaries are built into the patriarchy so strongly to divide us. Is matriarchy the destruction of binary structures or an extension of them?

In Mexico they still have matriarchy, my grandmother ruled all and made all of the family decisions. When a woman gives birth, she is taken care of for 40 days & nights. Her mother, grandmother, sisters, aunts, nieces and cousins take turns cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. the mother stays in bed and feeds her baby, everyone else helps with the baby’s bathing, changing diapers and everything that it entails. There is a lot of machismo, but all those men are beholden to their mothers and mother in laws!🙋🏻♀️🙏🏼

my daughter knows how much I care about community, especially with other women. I'm always there when she needs me or when my granddaughter needs me. my mom is the same for me and her. we have a little community, and our friends are all connected. matriarchy is the only way to fix this world

Yep and w@r is a big piece of that core wound. I asked to see what the core trauma is and witnessed two different scenarios. We are being asked to hold care and transmute our past lives. In the care, comes the healing. Do something for others even if it’s small like giving a few dollars to someone. It starts the healing process ❤️🩹

We need a Matriarchy because I refuse to be this. This is coming from a Southern Baptist Preacher granddaughter whose parents played organ and piano at said church. We HAVE TO HAVE a Matriarchy to fix this. Period.
