My mom was a stay at home mom for a long time and it is a full time job. It is hard. It’s not like some blue collar job but it’s definitely emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausting after a while. Along with household duties and plus keeping up with your marriage and keeping yourself healthy etc.

I was a stay at home mom for 2 and a half years… it was the hardest job I’ve done. You’re literally working 24/7… because even when we are sleeping our bodies are working making that precious liquid gold. It was taking a mental and emotional toll on me. I don’t regret a second of it because I got to experience things i never got to experience with my oldest but I am so happy to be back at work… even though I do miss my babies.

I’m a sahm to two, 3 yrs and 5 months. It’s hard you don’t get a break ever our job is 24/7 not only that but nobody sees all the tiny extra things we do on a daily basis. I see you and HEAR you mama

I’m pregnant & recently quit my factory job & coming from a 27 year old WOMAN, factory work is hard but not as hard as growing a human/being a SAHM. Sahm’s are sacrificing so much being at home with their babies. My man is a roofer & yes it’s hard work but not as hard as being a full time SAHM. Ppl are so ignorant!

they do NOT understand what it’s like to have a baby constantly all over you where you can’t even shower without them breaking down. they will NEVER understand the mental toll it has on people, men believe “hard” is something physical. but it’s so much stronger mentally, (as well as physically mentioning the pain and wear it puts on ur body giving birth!!) and this is js my experience from taking care of my little brother!!
