i wear deodorant and apply it multiple times a day but there are times that it wears off earlier than expected. mainly when I'm surrounded by people and my anxiety starts rising and it can get bad quickly

As someone who worked the SDCC exhibit floor for 10 years, this is absolute truth. It was so bad one year, they made an announcement over the loudspeaker for people to wear deodorant

IMPORTANT TIP: Smell is caused by bacteria. Have hand sanitizer on hand. Wipe down with hand sanitizer first then reapply the deodorant. It helps the deodorant last longer. A helpful tip from my Mom.

Also clean your cosplay outfits. I use rubbing alcohol mixed with water in a spray bottle or this. Always test it out in a small area first.
