I found out I had spinal cancer 3 days after I got engaged. She took care of me, helped me walk again, danced with me at our wedding and now we’ve been married 5 years and I’ve been cancer-free that long as well. I count myself incredibly lucky everyday. To anyone reading this, if you don’t think your partner would do this for you, they are not the one. Your soulmate is still out there; keep looking and don’t give up.

I moved from California to Washington to not only close the long distance gap between my girlfriend and I but to be there for her and support her during her health journey also. POTS, EDS, fibromyalgia, gastroparesis, IV therapy 3x a week and just got out of surgery for ileostomy yesterday. been together 2 years, moved a year ago and now live together
