Public restrooms often lack toilet paper and soap, too. It is highly recommended to carry a small pack of tissues and hand sanitizer with you while traveling in Spain.

If the bathroom has the air dryer I am using my sanitizing wipes out of my purse to clean my hands. Then wash them as soon as I get home

omg, as a Portuguese even in the worst case cenario we don't have soap in bathrooms I still wash with water and dry them, and normally I have an alcohol solution in my bag as well
