I played the PS2 port of 3 (Developed by Vicarious Visions, love those guys) and honestly it's fun enough. Not quite as good as 2, but it had its own exclusive boss fights and cutscenes. This was also eventually ported to the PSP with the open world included which is insane!

so. hot take. the ps2 version was my childhood game. I sunk thousands of hours into it. and I don't consider it a bad game. I never played the second until I was an adult.but spider man 3 for ps2 was and is one of my favorite nostalgia games. I played the ps3 version in my teen years and that one sucked bum. but this one will always hold a place in my heart. and yes. I know it's nostalgia. I don't care.

If I have to be honest I played Spider-Man 3 on the Xbox 360 and ps2 and from my experience the Xbox 360 is the better game overall but the ps2 version had better web swinging but keep in mind this is just my opinion
