They were BETTER. Seddie wasn’t born in an infatuation like Creddie was. Freddie wanting Carly because of close proximity, how nice she was, and that she was pretty meanwhile she never really looked at him as anything more then a friend till she got jealous of him and Sam that’s not love that’s obsession/conditioned. Sam and Freddie were enemies, to begrudging friends, to lovers and yes they needed to work on communication because neither of them were brought up in an environment that nourished that (Freddie’s mom never let him have a say, told him what to do, and never listened to how he felt and Sam’s mom was either never around, needing to be cared for, or hitting her up for cash) so when they had issues or problems they needed help to learn to communicate those things, but their chemistry was unmatched. Seddie forever! 🌸
