im a manager and I am held to the company policies on alot of things. when I try to get rid of dead weight, HR wants me to give them 10 more write ups. By then the damage is done. corporate policy is alot of the problem.

Quiet quitting was the BEST thing I've ever done!!! Stopped cleaning up after parties, stopped making sure that the copy machines always had paper in them, stopped cleaning up the kitchen sink at the end of the day, stop asking everyone if there's anything they needed, etc. my life is so peaceful and calm now.

I had to stop caring because caring was making me miserable. I hate matching energy. It goes against who I am naturally. But at some point you have to stop knocking on a door that will never open.
