@jakeclaverqfop: The stock versus equity unit distinction is the core issue. C-Corp and S-Corp stock can be seized in a lawsuit and used to liquidate underlying assets. LLC equity units cannot be handled the same way. S-Corps also cannot have trusts or other entities as owners, only individuals, which limits estate planning flexibility. C-Corps work well as management companies but should never hold digital assets directly. The holding company for digital assets should always be an LLC.
