Michael Jordan's baseball experiment was actually very interesting. His stats in aggregate were kinda meh, but they were improving rapidly later in that season continued, before ultimately ending with the strike-shortened season. who knows how that trajectory could have played out

MJ was good at baseball. Doing that well in the minors is incredible over one shortened season. Imagine if he went straight to baseball as a 20yo, spent 2-3yrs in the minors, he would likely be an AS player
