You have to get out of Florence when it that hot! Can you go to Cinque Terra during August or the hot you are experiencing now. You see, Florence is at the bottom of an oval bowl… a valley. The heat holds by the hills all around. It is suffocating. I lived it also.. I could not breathe.

after a month where you pay the electric bill 5x times more than normal, because u have kept the AC "american style", you start to stop loving it as well. You start saying with the money I save by not using it, I prefer to go to the beaches 1 hour from Florence

Go to places with good air conditioning during the day! Can you get a box unit installed? I could never be that hot 🥵 again and it’s something I do love about USA 🇺🇸 central heat and air!
