Your posts always pulls me deeper into reflecting on things I'm dealing with 😌 I am in a scenario like this now where the ex has asked if we could be friends ... it's been 5 months since we split and he's recently reached out, I've not been unkind but I'm also not willing to participate in a relationship that's not really serving either of us, I've yet to fully close the door though. Thank you for the insight, sometimes the delays cost you more than you willing to acknowledge.

I believe in friendship provided it ended well-ish (lol). Had a beautiful 5yr r/s that ended due to religion. We grieved seperatly, me horribly. And we synched up due to our love for motorbikes. We will catch up now and then for coffee. Thr was alot of care and respect, and just interest in growth of us as individuals. I felt it was a nice comfortable feeling of our season was over. He was going to get married and out of respect of the wife, decided to stop mtg up. I was very proud of him.
