My dog apparently was diagnosed with a lipoma and we were told it to worry. Several years later it turned out it was a mast cell tumor.

Our vet told us the lump was a cyst and not to worry. It was cancer 😞. Go to the vet. Talk to the vet. Question the vet. Get second opinions.

I watched an episode of Dr Pimple Popper where a guy had a “cyst” that kept filling up with clear fluid. Many previous doctors couldn’t figure out the cause. Dr Pimple Popper sent him for special tests. Tuns out it was a spinal fluid leak. Needed surgery to fix.

My dog has one on his side, literally the size of a football. His vet said it's not malignant, but can they remove it by a form of liposuction, rather than a huge scar on a senior dog? He's a 14 year-old rescue.
