The conference was meant to discuss the future of FIFA after major corruption investigations had shaken world football, with several FIFA officials already under investigation. In the middle of the event, Brodkin walked up to Blatter, placed fake cash on the table, and joked that it was “for North Korea 2026,” mocking the corruption allegations surrounding FIFA at the time. Security quickly removed him from the room while cameras continued rolling, and the bizarre moment instantly spread across the internet, becoming one of the most unforgettable interruptions in sports history.
