It's a way of you to speak with your guides. It's the road that connects you with your guides. Importance of ukuphahla - It is important to Phahla so that you can keep the connection between you and your ansestors alive with the connection alive they'll be able to send messages your way through dreams ,visions and instincts as well. How do you phahla - I've a basic way that I tell people who are new in ukuphahla to and who don't where to start to start by using one white candle ,a glass of water ,snuff and boxer tobacco and impepho. Put a white 1m cloth down then put all your items on top of it kneel down wearing appropriately,start calling on to your ansestors do specify that you're inviting in all the pour and cleansed ansestors with good intentions about your life. Introduce yourself then speak about what you've called them for. Depending on how fast your ansestors answer you'll then know what to add to your place of phahla like other colour candles or maybe you'll be told to remove something but they'll communicate with you if they've not said anything it means you're still in the right track.
