@vivafalastinleen: there’s a lot more i could say but i keep recording and deleting because i don’t wanna keep adding to the discourse. just feels important to remind everyone that gender is a construct!!!!
TERFs hate womanhood so much they can only define it with suffering.

this is why i genuinely believe u fundamentally have to include trans women to be a good feminist. creating binaries of what “womanhood” is is inherently antithetical to feminism

Briartastic :
when these people say things like "transwomen will never understand what its like to be a woman" and list off experiences that dont apply to them it really just ends up being weaponizing the suffering and oppression other subsection of women go through which will forever remind me how innately racist and misogynistic these so called "radical feminists" are

Yup! As a fat half Mexican American disabled non binary/woman I’ve never met anyone with a similiar experience and that’s okay. We share our experiences together to build a beautiful world to uplift ALL women.

They still won’t understand until they are being forced to show their bits in public bathrooms to prove they’re women because they decided to not wear makeup that day

Felt this heavy as an autistic women, sometimes it’s though my experience of the entire world is different lol. It doesn’t make me any less human or woman, just means those categories should not be understood in a way that excludes me.

also it’s ironic bc being constantly criticized and villainized and blamed for the actions of others for no reason is certainly a unifying experience among women that transphobes who claim “trans women don’t experience womanhood” are granting them 😭😭😭

My sisters, my mother, and I have all lived different lives as women. None of us had a similar experience due to our appearance and our attitudes and school and careers. We overlap, of course we do, but we have not had the same experience at all
