I burnt out after 23 years of 76 hour weeks , cost of living went up, chefs wages didn't. most kitchens in my town pay min wage for a skilled trade .

sow true , worked in a pizza , most days it was 2 people workin ,we had to deal with numerous clients , 14 hours a day and only 1 day off , not enough sleep only worked for 6 monts then quit , respect to those who can make it ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

oh my god dont make me cry we worked in shifts of 3 + head cheff(only till the end of lunch). colegue got fired like 6months ago. but for some reason we're not hiring no one. now we're just 2. today i was a +1 cause there was lotta reservations. one of the cheffs just left for 2 hours cause a friend came to say "hi" and the other one got drunk in the cooling storage later that day. i just cant. i didnt even have time to go to the bathroom. prep, stock in, orders, i was at 3 positions and dealing with this? grown people acting like this. unbelivable. got a hug from the waitresses tho so its not that bad.xD
