oh my god I just read the moustache and it’s been a while since I’ve felt so deeply engaged with a book and wow!!! i feel so thrown off and just completely shook from the ending to the entirety of the plot… lol my mind feels so cloudy from it and i tried to enlighten myself via Reddit but people hardly speak of the book so can someone explain the ending? It read a little bit like other existentialist novels I’ve read but wow wow I’m just struggling to wrap my mind around the book as a whole

The rest are okay but I don’t really understand why Pale Fire is so liked. I got the “point” of the novel by reading the foreword. I don’t understand trying to parse through the rest of Kinbote’s ramblings when the entire piece is meant to be a satirical metafiction. and i’m being genuine. if someone wants to explain what they like about it i would like to change my mind.
