Mirena didn’t stop my period so I’m on a 90 cycle pill so I only get my period every 3 months. It’s also very light and short now. It’s been a godsend since the mental affects of my period exacerbate my bipolar symptoms!!

Listen to her. Signed, someone who had a hysterectomy at 26 after failing fertility sparing treatment. An IUD did her best, I wish I had gotten one 10 years ago when I got diagnosed with pmos.

I’m on a prescription medication to stop my period for endometriosis. It’s honestly been so nice. I don’t have to miss work/life one day a week and risk passing out while living alone. It’s also nice to hear this and reassure me that it’s not bad for me

I can’t even remember the last time I had my period. Must be well over 10 years. My gynae also has “paused” her periods with contraceptives

IUD devotee here. Haven’t had a period in 14 years. This is amazing since I have endometriosis and my periods were horrific. Before my iud I would use the pill to skip my period as well. Now teaching my daughters with their GYN help all about this!

Been using the patch for 10 years. I can skip my period for 2 months but then I have to let it show up to avoid breakthru bleeding. Guessing that has something to do with my weight (195)
