Sealed prices are an entirely different market than singles. There’s no correlation. Each sealed product has its own rarity. Just like the cards in the pack.

Engage brain. People aren’t basing the price of the box on the raw prices of the promos, people base it on the PSA 10 prices.

Yea but promos are always cheap raw, the whole idea behind the collection boxes is grading the promos, the mew Is 850 PSA 10, the mewtwo is 600, 151 packs are 28$ a pop and you get 18 I believe, and the box is 900$, you gambling on the promos to hit a good grade

people dont realize that the older sets are only so expensive because they are rare. nothing modern is rare, prices are inflated, not to mention the roi all the modern sets are borrowing from their future appreciation. you can buy at this price but it wont go up like the other sets. anything modern isnt a good hold at current market price imo

Two other things to factor in: 1) the chance anything you pull gets a PSA10 2) the chance some streamer 20-30 years from now will pay me a fortune for it to open some “vintage” cards on their stream.
