I don’t think bear is controlling her I think nikki is mirroring bear because obsession or strong love craves a desire to relate. I think freaky nikki wants to relate to be closer to him even if it’s not true. The wish wasn’t necessarily a thing he knew would even work. It was a throwaway wish kinda like a birthday candle. He was the villain for what he did after. Nikki knows bear desires Sarah so she mirrors Sarah. Before she knew that he was going to pursue her she mirrored him. Everything he desires and how much he desires it is a mirror. He had no idea what nikki was and she couldn’t be nikki because nikki doesn’t like bear. He was looking at her from a place of limerance. So she mirrored that exact limerance

OKAYYY IM LOVING THIS SERIES✨✨✨ I have one thing that’s been bothering me that I really want someone to give me thoughts on. I’m so curious what she wished for in the end. Ik it’s supposed to be obvious but like the connection to the tigers eye at the end, why’d he put it down, why’d he change his mind and almost NOT khs til she made the wish, like what’s all the subconscious stuff he’s thinking there cuz that was so much happening 😭

bear also sucks because he should have I'm alive nikki. he left her traumatized beyond belief and waiting sentencing to the penitentiary or to the death row. the way cops work she was now going to be a prisoner in real life

As someone who unfortunately struggles with movies that have any type of sexual tension or content and has to avoid them for my own peace of mind, but also SOOOO wanted to know of this movie because I love cooper and curry and finding out curry made it was just so cool to me, I am really greatful to your explanation on this and going into detail through the whole movie as I won’t be able to bring myself to watch it. This whole concept is insane and I genuinely LOVE the story line of this. Bear is a POS and deserved his end. it’s so hard to find horror movies or scary movies in general anymore that have actually unique takes and plots, I so wish there wasn’t stuff I have to avoid in it but also totally respect how it played a huge factor in the movie as well. It being her not actually wanting to do it, but clearly needing to as it’s his wish for it. Idk I love this movie sm and am so proud of Curry. Thank you so much for sharing this, you did a fantastic job breaking it down and made it really immersive!!
