I sometimes take the bus to work, and have to transfer busses downtown, and lemme tell you, downtown at like 6:30 in the morning, is surreal. not horrifying in the "big city dahntahn is evil" way, just dreamy in a lucid dream kind of way

It also has a habit of calling people back. My grandparents grew up here and my dad always wanted to move here. We moved here when I was a kid and I tried to move away twice and ended up back. I even ended up settling in the neighborhood my granddad was from (we thought he grew up somewhere else until I found his military paperwork). It’s such an odd place.

Yeahhhhhh I’ve been to one very well known very creepy place right outside of the city. Very very scary. The woods in the suburbs around Pittsburgh can be real creepy. I can’t explain it.

I second this notion. I work all around Pittsburgh and it’s fascinating how I find myself doing loops in some of the same streets when it doesn’t feel like you’ve even went in a full circle. Be careful! Especially when driving through alleyways!
